「京都の旅」3回目です。妙心寺を訪れた後、母校にも寄りました。
Here is the third post in the "Trip to Kyoto" series. After visiting Myōshin-ji, I dropped by my old university.

建物の名称は漢字3字です。ちなみに私の学舎は清心館でした。
The names of the buildings consist of three kanji characters. By the way, the building where I studied was called "Sei Shin Kan" which literally means "Pure Heart Hall".
Le nom de chaque bâtiment est composé de trois caractère de kanjis. À propos, le mien s'appelait « Sei shin kan », qui signifie littéralement le « bâtiment du cœur pur ».
キャンパスを通り抜け、京都巡りの最後は、どうしてもこれが見たくて龍安寺まで足を延ばしました。
Passing through the campus, I went as far as Ryōan-ji to finish my Kyoto journey, as I absolutely wanted to see this.
En passant par le campus, pour terminer ma promenade à Kyoto, je suis allée jusqu'à Ryōan-ji parce que je voulais absolument voir cela.
「吾唯足知」（われ ただ たるを しる）は、禅の教えですが、かつて多くの文明に存在していた普遍的な考えだと思います。（そもそも禅は、インドで誕生し、中国で進化し、日本で開花しました。）
"Ware tada taru wo shiru" is a Zen teaching, but I think it is a universal concept that once existed in many civilizations. (Originally, Zen was born in India, developed in China, and flourished in Japan.)
« Ware tada taru wo shiru » est un enseignement du zen, mais je pense que c'est une pensée universelle qui existait autrefois dans beaucoup de civilisations. (À l'origine, le zen est né en Inde, il s'est développé en Chine et s'est épanoui au Japon.)
これは、今まさに世界で必要とされている教えではないでしょうか。世界各国の「指導者」たち、経営者たち、そして私たち一人ひとりにも。
I am wondering if this is the mindset that our world needs most precisely at this moment.—for the so-called "leaders" of nations, for business executives, and for each of us.
Je me demande si ce n'est pas l'enseignement dont le monde aurait le plus besoin précisément en ce moment. : pour les soi-disant « dirigeants » du monde, pour les chefs d'entreprise, et puis, pour chacun d'entre nous.
私は、物質的に不自由のない国で生まれ育ったため、衣食住に困ることなく暮らせる有り難みを忘れがちです。
I was born and grew up in a country where we lack for nothing materially. That's why I tend to forget how lucky I am to be able to live with all basic things such as clothing, food and shelter.
Moi, je suis née et j'ai grandi dans un pays où l'on ne manque de rien sur le plan matériel. C'est pourquoi j'ai tendance à oublier la chance de pouvoir vivre sans manquer de vêtements, de nourriture ou d'un toit.
そこで、自戒を込めて、これを目の届くところに置いています。
So, I keep this where I can see it at home as a reminder to myself.
Je garde donc cela posé sous mes yeux, chez moi, pour me le rappeler.

Actually, I realized after returning from Kyoto that it's a bottle opener! But after all, it doesn't really matter...
En fait, je me suis rendu compte après mon retour de Kyoto, que c'était un décapsuleur ! Mais bon, peu importe...
もちろん石庭も見学しました。日が傾いてくると、朝とはまた違った趣があります。
Of course, I also visited the rock garden. When the sun is getting lower, the atmosphere is different from that of the morning.
Évidemment, j'ai aussi visité le jardin de pierres. Lorsque le soleil commence à décliner, l'atmosphère est différente de celle du matin.
知らない人たちが隣同士、縁側に座っている風景に何だか心が和みます。
There is something soothing about seeing strangers sitting next to each other on the wooden veranda.
Il y a quelque chose d'apaisant à voir des inconnus assis côte à côte sous la véranda en bois.
さまざまな言語が聞こえてくるなか、思い思いに庭を眺めて過ごすひととき。穏やかな時間が流れているだけで、ここに争いごとは一切ありませんね。
While hearing different languages, each person spends a moment in their own way, gazing at the garden. We simply share this peaceful moment, and here, there is no conflict.
En entendant diverses langues, chacun passe un moment plongé dans ses pensées devant ce jardin. On partage juste ce moment de paix, et ici, il n'y a aucun conflit.
実に２年ぶりの京都訪問を終え、電車に揺られて大阪に戻りました。
My first visit to Kyoto in two years has come to an end, and I head back to Osaka by train.
Ma première visite à Kyoto depuis deux ans s'est terminée ainsi, et je suis tranquillement retournée à Osaka en train.
